EMS Training Funds Bid Process Opening

The Office of EMS sets aside funds per EMS Council based on the amount claimed in the region in the last several years. For Fiscal Year 2019, there will be funding available for Auxiliary courses and for Category 1 Continuing Education. Two category 1 ALS CE courses may be funded per jurisdiction.

Funding for continuing education and auxiliary education courses will be awarded via a competitive bid process facilitated by each Council. Initial course funding will be distributed directly to students via the new scholarship system. The Rappahannock EMS Council is opening its competitive bid process on December 10, 2019.
