From NOVAHA:
Below are some new and updated CDC resources that may be of interest as you continue to prepare for and respond to COVID-19. We recommend regularly checking https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/whats-new-all.html for the latest on new and updated guidance.
We are aware that most of our partners are experiencing PPE shortages. We encourage all partners to review and create plans for implementing the CDC's Strategies for Optimizing the Supply of PPE. The National Emerging Special Pathogen Training and Education Center (NETEC) is hosting a webinar covering information on the extended use, reuse and innovative decontamination strategies for COVID-19 Personal Protective Equipment. Additional details and the registration link can be found here. NETEC has additional COVID-19 resources as well.
The CDC has released a PPE Burn Rate Calculator to help facilities and providers calculate the rate at which their facility is using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
The CDC has also released a Nursing Home Preparedness Checklist.
The CDC has also updated its list of Print Resources, which includes posters and signs you can print to display in your facilities as reminders of mitigation actions.
For facilities who are part of a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), the CDC has released guidance for Retirement Communities and Independent Living Facilities.
