Eight hours of dedicated critical care CE each quarter which can be used toward your CCEMT-P, IBSC CCP-C/FP-C, or BCEN CFRN/CFRN recertifications.
You do NOT have to already be a critical care provider to attend. Whether you’re a veteran critical care provider who just needs CC CE’s or an ALS provider who’s interested in learning more, all are welcome. Classes will be taught by active Flight Paramedic. All sessions will also include a skills portion of the class. Virginia CE hours will be given to attendees.
Pre-registration is required.
First quarter topics will cover Trauma Assessment and Emergencies:
- Diagnostics: chest xrays, ultrasound, CT scans, lab values
- Pharmacology
- Shock Management
- Blood Products
- Surgical Interventions/Airways
- Burns/escharotomy
- TBI/Spinal Cord Injuries
