This course will provide non-native English speakers with the language skills necessary to communicate and work effectively in the healthcare industry and to achieve their long-term professional goals as healthcare workers. The class is geared to non-native English-speaking health professionals and new residents entering the healthcare field. The course will consist of six 1-hour online sessions with the instructor and 18 hours of self-study and assignments. Students will meet with the instructor every Friday from 9am to 10am and be given assignments to complete each week.
