National Traffic Incident Management Training – LifeCare

We are proud to announce upcoming sessions of the SHRP2 ( VDOT: SHRP2 Training Video ) National Traffic Incident Management Responder Training in the Commonwealth of Virginia. With the current amount of traffic on the roadways these days, public service personnel are always reminded of Safe, Quick Clearance. This training is designed to inform attendees of procedures on clearing incident scenes quickly with a well-coordinated, multi-disciplinary teams of first responders and transportation personnel, in an effort to reduce the risk of injury to those on-scene, reduce the risk of secondary crashes, and reduce delays due to congestion.

The next available local training opportunities will be Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM; Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM; or Thursday, April 2, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at LifeCare Medical Transports. This is open to ALL Law Enforcement, Fire, Rescue, EMS, Emergency Management, Public Works, Transportation, Towing and Recovery, Media/News, and Communications Personnel. The training will last for 4 hours and attendees will be able to earn in-service hours through DCJS, OEMS (CAT ONE), and/or VDFP.
